In this audio of a talk given to District 56 Toastmasters 2011 Spring Conference, Sandra reveals how she works with professionals and performers to develop comfort and confidence speaking to groups. She shares some of her core concepts upon which her method is built. She explains what really happens when we are seized up with stage fright and fear of public speaking. She also teaches her grounding exercise that gets you out of your head and into your body so you can be more comfortable in your skin. Finally she guides a volunteer with stage fright through some of her process, demonstrating how easily you can transform stage fright into relaxed presence when you give yourself permission to feel. You will see how quickly the volunteer is freed up to speak authentically and hear him talk about how different he feels.
